Our Beliefs
Our beliefs are best summarized by The Apostles’ Creed. Grace believes that the Scriptures – the Old and New Testaments – is the Word of God. The Scriptures speak to us primarily about the Gospel – the good news – of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection for humanity. Salvation is entirely the work of God – from beginning to end and at all points in between. Read more here.
What does it mean to be “Lutheran”? It simply means that the return to the Scriptures by the Reformers of the 16th century are still vital to God’s Church today. This return is summarized by the 5 “Solas” of the Reformation.

FAQs
What is the best way to enter the campus?
To access the Church Office, please enter the campus on 13th Avenue, just SE of Sprouts. The entrance is on the south side near the large sanctuary building. To access the School Office, please enter the campus near the corner of Redwood Street and 13th Avenue. Current COVID protocols are in place to access staff and buildings.
Should I give an offering?
Offerings are an opportunity to respond to God’s goodness to us. While we ask members to support this ministry financially, returning what God has freely given us to further His work here, we do not ask that of our guests and visitors. We would ask that visitors and guests leave us contact information so we can establish a relationship to love and serve you as appropriate.
Can I participate in Holy Communion?
Holy Communion here at Grace is a very special gift of God to His people. He feeds us the body and blood of Jesus in bread and wine for the forgiveness of our sin, the strengthening of our faith, and the deepening of bonds between us and Him and between each other. Because of this, we ask those who have not yet communed here before to speak with a pastor prior to communing, that we might share a common understanding of Holy Communion and its benefits. We seek our celebration of Holy Communion to be a genuine display of Christian unity.
How do I join Grace Lutheran Church?
Please call the Church Office to speak with one of our pastors. Typically, membership is granted when we can share the following: (1) teaching of the Word; (2) the mission and ministry of Grace; (3) commitment of love and support. Transferring from a sister congregation can be done through a meeting with one of our pastors. Instructional classes are taught as needed in the Sacraments: Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
